Weapons are a part of life in the period represented by Red Dead Redemption 2, especially if you’re an outlaw like Arthur Morgan. Rockstar Games has shed some light on the many different weapon choices available to players, along with announcing a deep customization system and an enhanced Dead Eye system.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Weapons

Red Dead Redemption 2 will feature over 50 unique weapons, ranging from six-shooters to shotguns and sniper rifles. Guns will come in all types of different materials, such as various metals, woods, varnishes, and engravings. Weapons can be customized with performance-enhancing upgrades, including barrels, grips, and scopes. Players will be able to design unique weapons based on their choices of upgrades and visuals.

Every situation has the perfect gun for it, be it double-barreled shotguns, scoped rifles, or high fire rate revolvers. The Red Dead Redemption 2 website has a few more clips of weapon reloads that will make you wish it was release day already.

Enhanced Dead Eye System

The Dead Eye system is making its return after being an integral and revolutionary part of Red Dead Redemption. The system allows the player to build up energy of sorts and then use it to paint multiple enemies or multiple areas of enemies in slow motion before unleashing a hail of bullets.

The enhanced Dead Eye system will also identify critical and vulnerable parts of enemies, and as you earn experience in Red Dead Redemption 2, Arthur’s proficiency with the Dead Eye system will grow with you.

Red Dead Redemption 2 releases on October 26, and we’re counting down the days. Have you booked your vacation time yet?
