Get ready to swing for the green, cook up some flesh, and play some classic rock in Dying Light this Halloween when Left 4 Dead 2 weapons make their way to Techland’s zombie shooter. The Left 4 Dead series is regarded as one of the best first-person zombie shooter video game franchises of all time and it’s coming back in a new way. For a few days, Dying Light and Left 4 Dead 2 are teaming up to feature the iconic electric guitar, frying pan, and golf club to take down the walking dead.

Techland and Valve are partnering together for just four days this spooky season to bring in the unique weaponry to Dying Light. Starting October 24, the world will be full of an increased amount of Virals, a larger amount of attacking hordes, and players will be able to pick up and fire more guns and collect more ammo to dispose of the undead.

It’s all a part of the four-day-long challenge that players will need to complete in order to unlock the weapons from Left 4 Dead 2. After the successful slaying, killing, beheading, and slaughtering waves of zombies, players will be rewarded with a unique gold blueprint of one of the weapons featured in L4D2. After receiving the blueprint, they can then craft them and use them forever.

So, if you’ve missed running around as Bill, Rochelle, or Coach and feel like bashing in some zombies with the old frying pan, this is your shot.

The challenge will run through October 28, 2019 and is for both the PC and console versions of Dying Light. However, if you happen to miss the special chance to unlock the Left 4 Dead 2 weapons, have no fear. You will be able to access all three when they are released as completely free DLC after the end of the event.
