As the sixth season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow continues its monster-of-the-week alien hunt, one former villain is getting their time in the limelight. Astra Logue (Olivia Swann), the former queen of Hell, will be grappling with her newfound mortality in Legends of Tomorrow Season 6 Episode 5 ‘The Satanist’s Apprentice’.
The team has been busy all season trying to find and rescue their lost captain Sara Lance (Caity Lotz). Interestingly enough, Caity Lotz is also the director for ‘The Satanist’s Apprentice’. Meanwhile, Legends of Tomorrow hasn’t really given Astra a chance to adjust to the real world. And with John Constantine (Matt Ryan) too busy to help out, it looks like she’ll be making a scary new friend.
The synopsis for the episode teases that Astra’s actions are going to have some “real repercussions”. It also mentions that Sara is finally going to meet the person responsible for her kidnapping.
That means we’re probably going to see Raffi Barsoumian as season villain Bishop. That alone would be pretty exciting but it’s also going to be interesting to see who Astra’s mysterious friend really is.
Based on the title, it could be one of Astra’s old demonic contacts. In fact, the legendary occultist Aleister Crowley could fit the bill since he’s been mentioned once already this season.
