Lego Builder’s Journey was their first foray into creating a seamless, buildable world. While the concept of turning the world around you into something unique has been around for so long, the puzzle methodology of Lego Builder’s Journey intrigued many. Following up on that concept is their brand new upcoming title, Lego Bricktales. Taking the formula of moving the world and exploring it with newly created machines is perfect for Lego. Announced for a 2022 release, Lego Bricktales is the brand new title by Bridge Constructor developer Clockstone.
What Does Clockstone’s Lego Bricktales Trailer Showcase?
The brand new trailer showcases some interesting diversions from the traditional Lego formula. Resembling the environments of Lego Builder’s Journey, the new title places the player in Minifigures shoes. Allowing traversal across a wide lego world is very liberating. From the handcrafted lego worlds around them to the characters players can interact with, Lego Bricktales is a step up from the Bridge Constructor titles. Looking for solutions to puzzles and building the solutions is all part of the experience. While the trailer only showcases the creation of a helicopter, there’s sure to be plenty of other buildable creations in the game. With no set release date, the title is set to launch sometime later in 2022.
