It has been well over a month since LEGO Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens came out and the game is still on top of the UK video game charts.

Sales only dropped by a measly 1 percent and LEGO Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens has been on top of the charts for five weeks now according to GFK Chart-Track.

The game managed to fend off Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End which came short at number 2. The PS4 exclusive was discounted heavily by UK retailers as sales sky-rocketed by 94 percent compared to the prior week. It still wasn’t enough to fend off the mighty Star Wars franchise.

The rest of this week’s top 10 was just dominated by older video games. The usual suspects are there such as FIFA 16, Grand Theft Auto V and Minecraft. Two games that saw a rise in sales were Ratchet and Clank and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.

Since it’s the summer time over in the Northern Hemisphere, there were no new releases out. The big games don’t come out until September onward. August however will see the release of No Man’s Sky and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

LEGO Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens is likely to be on top until No Man’s Sky releases later this month.
