Well, bad news for Star Wars and LEGO games fans. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is getting delayed from its spring 2021 release window to an unannounced date. It’s no April Fools, folks, since it’s already past April 1 and it’s not a really amusing joke no matter how you look at it. Still, let’s hope there’s nothing too serious happening behind the scene that ends up postponing the game’s release date. Here’s what TT Games has to say about the delay, via Gematsu:

However, this wasn’t the first time LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga got delayed. The game was planned to be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on October 20, 2020. However in August, out of the left-field, both Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games said that it is instead going to come out in 2021. Aside from LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment also decided to push back three of its highly anticipated, upcoming titles:

  • Hogwarts Legacy and Gotham Knights, delayed to 2022 from their initial 2021 release window.
  • Back 4 Blood, Left 4 Dead spiritual sequel, delayed to October 12 from its June 22 release date.
