Lego Star Wars Trailer at Gamescom 2021
During Gamescom 2021, Traveller’s Tales, The Lego Group, Warner Bros. Games, and Lucasfilm Games banded together to present fresh footage for the upcoming Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The mega entry has been in development for some time now, but the developers and publishers are ready for its official release. With a Spring 2022 release window in store, players can expect more footage on the way.
The new gameplay trailer runs through several memorable moments from the Star Wars film franchise; albeit with that recognizable Lego humor. For example, you have Luke teaching Rey the ways of the Force, only to have Chewbacca pop in for a quick head scratch. Another is young Luke proving that he is ready to face Vader, but his awkward lightsaber skills say otherwise.
There’s also a huge alteration in the game’s combat. For so long, Lego Star Wars enthusiasts have been accustomed to basic action gaming. For Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the gameplay is being remodeled with third-person implementation. Players can still expect to find themselves in their favorite Star Wars moments when the title approaches next year.
