At a launch event in New Delhi, Lenovo has today expanded on its Legion gaming laptop lineup with the launch of the Legion Y540 and Legion Y740. The company is now steadily growing its India portfolio and the Legion laptop launch comes after the new Yoga lineup unveiling earlier this month. Lenovo has refreshed its lineup with the new Legion laptops, now offering the latest CPU and GPU options.

The Legion Y540 and Y740 are successors to Lenovo’s Y530 and Y730 gaming laptops from last year. Both of them boast almost the exact design and specs, except for the fact that Legion Y740 boasts an anodized aluminum build as compared to a textured plastic build on the Legion Y540. Both of these gaming laptops feature a 15.6-inch anti-glare display with a 1920×1080 pixels resolution, up to 144Hz refresh rate and thin bezels.

Both the Legion Y540 and Legion Y740 boast almost the exact dimensions and weigh around 2.2 kilograms. You get all the essential connectivity options including 2×2 Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 1x USB Type-C, HDMI 2.0, RJ-45, mini-DP port, and more. They feature a 3-cell 57WH battery, with up to 5 hours of backup.
