Letitia Wright is well-known as a Black Panther star. She plays the titular character’s highly intelligent sister. Her character’s main attribute is intelligence. But she is no stranger to fighting. And it is one of those scenes that likely caused the actress some misfortune. This will likely delay further filming for the moment.

Letitia Wright Hospitalized After Stunt Injury

Letitia Wright is set to reprise her role as Shuri, sister of T’Challa. As one of the characters who fight, it’s important to participate in stunts. During filming for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the Black Panther star suffered an injury. Principal shooting began back in June in the city of Atlanta, GA. Most recently, though, filming had taken place in Boston, MA.

Sources have stated the injury suffered was minor. But the Black Panther star is being cared for in a local hospital. Fans await her speedy recovery. And hope to see Letitia Wright once again as the headstrong Shuri. Along with actors Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba, and Angela Bassett, they will be coming back.

Letitia Wright has played the character Shuri a few times. She first took on the role in the first Black Panther movie. And she reprised her role twice when the Avengers took on Thanos and his army. The actress will play Shuri a third time in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The movie is set to release on July 8, 2022.

Dominique Thorne is also listed on the second BP film’s credits as Riri Williams. Comic book readers may know her better as Iron Heart, Tony Stark’s successor. Will we see her don the suit along with the Black Panther star?
