Pinnochio is off on a brand-new adventure, poking his nose again into menacing matters that involve the uncanny supernatural. But this time, instead of delinquent youth transmuting into donkeys, we have on our hands a morbid city crawling with all manner of unspeakable horrors and grotesque abominations. Having one too many sips of “Bloodborne juice,” Geppetto has developed a nightmarish taste for the macabre, sending his blade-wielding son into a mechanical dance with death itself. In the upcoming action-adventure Souls-like Lies Of P, we’re about to finally figure out what Pinnochio is capable of without a conscience.

From the developers that brought us Bless Unleashed, Lies Of P will be releasing on PC, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series S/X systems. Director Jiwon Choi had the following to say about Round8 Studio‘s upcoming title:

Wandering the ruins of the once beautiful city of Krat, Pinocchio is on an unrelenting quest to evolve from a demon-slaying mechanoid puppet to a demon-slaying human being. Featuring a fleshed-out combat/skill system and gripping narrative where lying matters, Lies Of P takes the concept of “becoming a real boy” to a gruesome new level. However, there is a catch — “You must always lie to others if you hope to become human.” In this grim tale, Pinocchio’s lies sharpen his sword as much as they augment his body. Get ready to dip your toes and “wooden nose” into the dark fantasy world of Lies Of P.
