The hotly-anticipated follow-up to Dontnod Entertainment’s adventure series Life is Strange has finally got a release date.

Life is Strange 2 is now targeting a fall release date with an all-new story. It will span five episodes, just like the first game, and it’ll be available on all platforms on the same date—Sept. 27.

Dontnod made the announcement via the official Life is Strange Twitter account today. Further information will be released this August, ahead of the game’s official release date.

If the wait for the new story is too much, you can try out The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, a narrative demo that links to Life is Strange 2, for free on June 26. It’ll be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It’s likely the young character Chris, who loves to dress up as his own superhero and play out fantasies involving his favorite invented characters, will play a major role in the sequel.

Previously, Dontnod Entertainment has stated that Life is Strange 2 will focus on a new crop of characters beyond Max Caulfield, Chloe Price, and the rest of the crew we came to know and love. Life is Strange explored and tied up many of its loose narrative ends with the prequel Life is Strange: Before the Storm, and as such it appears Max and Chloe’s stories have come to an end.

Life is Strange 2 will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. There’s no word on a mobile edition just yet—but like the previous titles, it’ll likely make its way there.
