Android device users can now play the cult classic narrative adventure.
Earlier this year, all the episodes of 2015’s hit narrative adventure Life is Strange became available on iOS devices, with the promise that an Android version would be out later in the year. Now, the game is available on just about every platform imaginable.
Publisher Square Enix announced in a recent press release that Life is Strange‘s five episodes are currently all available to purchase for Android devices. The first episode is free, so players can try it out without much commitment if they’re not quite sure they’ll be into it, with the second episode costing only $0.99. The final three episodes all cost $4.99 each and the season pass is $8.99. Like with the iOS version of the game, Android players are able to share their choices on social media, as well as take advantage of the mobile-exclusive Photo Mode to take and share in-game photos. The Android also has full controller support, something that the iOS version doesn’t have.
Now that Life is Strange is available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android, and with the first episode free across all platforms, anyone who has had any level of interest in the game now has access to it and can get started just in time for the premiere of Life is Strange 2, which comes out this September.
