If you owned Playdead’s first game on Xbox 360 and didn’t want to fork over cash for the Xbox One version to play it on the latest console, then we’ve got good news for you. The game has just joined Xbox One’s backwards compatibility catalog, with the announcement being made by Major Nelson on Twitter.
As always, if you already own the game on Xbox 360 then it should automatically appear for download in your Xbox One library. However, if you have been meaning to buy the game then it is currently going for $10 through the Xbox store.
While Limbo originally launched in 2010, developer Playdead delivered the long-awaited follow-up earlier this year. The game was similarly a puzzle-platformer called Inside, which received critical acclaim at launch. Limbo isn’t the only game that has joined Xbox One’s backwards compatibility catalog this week, as the long-awaited Blue Dragon got the support on Tuesday. You can learn more about that by clicking right here.
