Lindsay Lohan is making an acting comeback with the Netflix movie Falling for Christmas, marking the first of a two-film deal she has with the streamer. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she looks at this second chance after a derailed career from addicting, partying, and bad press that made so many TMZ and People magazine headlines.

A part of this road to recovery and strike back into Hollywood for Lindsay Lohan was her acting and life coach Bernard Hiller. From a mutual friend, the two met in the U.K., which sparked this relationship that got her back on track. Once back on sets, she said that it was “like riding a bicycle.”

When it comes to acting, Lindsay Lohan finds it easy to “immerse” herself once she has the cosmetics finished, like a costume, makeup, and her hair. She does find it easy to snap back to reality when the scene is done. She is now focused on performing more with her coach by her side, which is new territory for her as she had “never worked” with a coach before. They have been able to find ways of pacing out scenes, finding subtext, and not to “limit” herself “where the character can go emotionally.”

Part of the Lindsay Lohan acting comeback that we will be seeing is Falling for Christmas. The rom-com follows a newly engaged woman who gets amnesia after a skiing accident and is taken care of by a good-looking lodge owner and his daughter. She will star with Chord Overstreet (Glee), Jack Wagner (When Calls the Heart), and George Young (Malignant). It is the directorial debut of Janeen Damian, who writes with Jeff Bonnett and Michael Damian. The film hits the streamer on November 10.

In part of the Netflix movie deal, Lindsay Lohan is filming Irish Wish, which the Falling for Christmas filmmaker also directs.
