Graceland was Elvis Presley’s home while he lived and Lisa Marie’s playground in her childhood. Lisa Marie inherited the sprawling estate in 1977 when she was just nine after Elvis’s death from a cardiac arrest.

Following Lisa Marie’s death on January 12, many were interested in knowing who would inherit the mansion. Four days after her death, PEOPLE confirmed that Elvis Presley’s Graceland estate would go to Lisa Marie Presley’s three daughters.
Graceland, located in Memphis, Tennessee, is a part of The Elvis Presley Trust, which Lisa founded in 1993. Lisa’s mother, Priscilla Presley, was a co-trustee until she moved into an “advisory” role in 1998, per the Graceland official website.
Now, Lisa’s daughters: Riley Keough, 33, and twins Harper Vivienne Ann and Finley Aaron Love, 14, will inherit the beautiful property.
The estate was opened to the public and became a tourist attraction under Priscilla’s care in 1982. The family could no longer keep up with payments, so the matriarch took the reins and saved the estate.
Graceland spans 13.8 acres and now includes a hotel where guests can book rooms and stay.
Some of the rooms that Elvis once occupied are open to tour. They include the living room, his parent’s bedroom, the kitchen, the TV room, the pool room, the famous Jungle Room, his father’s office, the Trophy Building, the Racquetball Building, and the Meditation Garden.
Lisa Marie’s Last Public Appearance Was At The 2023 Golden Globes
The singer’s last appearance in public was at The 80th annual Golden Globe Awards on January 10. Lisa Marie and Priscilla were there to support first-time winner Austin Butler for his Golden Globe Award for his role in Elvis.
Following her death two days later, Austin released a statement via his rep responding to the somber news. The actor offered condolences to her bereaved family and mentioned how lucky he was to have met Lisa Marie.
Lisa Marie’s daughter Riley also confirmed to HollywoodLife via a rep that her late mother will be buried at Graceland with other members of the Presley family. Elvis, his father, Vernon, his mother, Gladys, and his grandmother, Minnie Mae, were laid to rest there, according to ET.
