Lisa Rinna has opened up about the reason for her exit and her final season from Bravo’s RHOBH. In her first interview, since she dropped the bomb of leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the American actress did not hold back.
The 59-year-old reality star made a shocking revelation in her first interview after her exit from RHOBH as she said that she “f–ing hated” her final season on the Bravo series. Rinna had some difficulty during the 12th season of the RHOBH, leading to her decision to exit the show.

In an interview with Interview Magazine, the Television personality revealed the reason for exiting the Bravo series. During the 12th season of RHOBH, Rinna lost her mother, Lois, which made filming the show difficult, but that was not what prompted her exit. The actress revealed that she became a victim of the “smear campaign” that was brought up against her after her fight with Kathy Hilton on their trip to Aspen.
The Melrose Place actress explained how the story of the fight between the two reality stars was not told “two-sidedly.” Rinna explained that the fight that occurred in Aspen was so spontaneous and surprising that she did not think to record what happened as evidence, as there were no cameras there. The Sex, Lies & Obsession actress claimed that her fellow co-star, Hilton, had made offensive remarks about her sister, Kyle Richards. Although Hilton denied all the allegations leveled against her by Rinna, Rinna still emphasized that she only told “the truth.”

Rinna has exited the show after being on it for eight seasons. The actress revealed that she told her co-stars about her exit during the season 12 reunion taping.
The RHOBH alum said she is going to put distance between herself and the series, which includes the castmates. Rinna joked that “everything ‘Housewives’ has to go away for a while.” Although the final season before exiting the show was not pleasant for Rinna, she is still grateful for the experience the show gave her.
