RHOBH star Lisa Rinna dropped the bombshell news of her exit from the show on Thursday, weeks after her husband, Harry Hamlin, spoke up in her defense. The 71-year-old actor, who graced this week’s issue of People to discuss his upcoming projects, Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches and 80 for Brady, discussed his wife’s run on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
According to him, Lisa had a troubled run on the Bravo series due to her brutal honesty. Her desire to always tell the truth without mincing words eventually became her bane, earning her criticism from the other housewives. He divulged:

Defending the reality star, Harry pointed out that honesty was her strong point, and he never knew her to tell a lie since meeting her over three decades ago. Contrariwise, Lisa always stood by the truth and never uttered “something that wasn’t absolutely and honestly true,” both on and off the screen.
Hence, having viewers and her co-housewives label Lisa Rinna a liar on RHOBH long before her exit was simply a misconception he paid no heed to.
