Are you sad that the holiday season is over? Do you miss the sights and sounds of Halloween even though we’re only a few months removed from October? Well, you can get your horror fix today! Bandai Namco has just released the trailer and console demo for the much-awaited horror puzzle-platformer, Little Nightmares II. 

The full game will launch on February 11, 2021, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (digital). For PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X owners, this charming but chilling adventure game will be released later in 2021 with a free upgrade if you own the last-gen version. 

Little Nightmares II – Trailer & Demo

The trailer showcases the themes and environments that will be featured in the game. What malevolent monstrosities will be hunting our protagonist this time? The teaser shows new areas such as “The Pale City” and “The School.” It also gives us a sneak-peek at our new ‘hero’ Mono and Little Nightmares’ previous protagonist, Six. 

Stiffen your upper-lip and dive into this macabre world of puzzle-solving and platforming! PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch players can get a taste of Little Nightmares II by downloading the newly released demo. For those with a Switch, the full game can be preordered from the Nintendo eShop starting today, January 13, at 9:00 a.m. PST. 

Sweepstakes

To celebrate the upcoming release of Little Nightmares II, there will also be a “console sweepstakes” from January 13 – February 11. There will be a giveaway of the first Little Nightmare game on Stream, the Little Nightmares Comic app, and a new set of branded apparel from the Bandai Namco Store.

Little Nightmares II is produced in partnership with Tarsier Studios. The previous installment was well-received by gamers, praising the game for its graphics, atmosphere, and visual storytelling. 

In the sequel, the player follows the story of a young boy named Mono who is ”trapped in a world distorted by the humming transmission of distant Signal Tower. Mono, and a young girl by the name of Six, must find their way through this nightmare of a world and discover “the grim secrets” that lie underneath the shadows. Be careful, though. Mono and Six will not get through their journey without a few hair-raising encounters.
