Little Nightmares has released its second DLC today. Named ‘The Hideaway,’ this additional chapter continues telling the story of the Runaway Kid, whose adventure takes place in parallel to the main adventure. The new episode is marked by the appearance of the Nomes, from whom the Runaway Kid requires their assistance to escape. However, the Nomes are hiding a secret that could put the plan in peril.

The DLC is available now in PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read the official synopsis of the new chapter via Steam: “The Runaway Kid wakes up in the engine area of The Maw, a dark and grimy place populated by Nomes. Only by finding and rescuing these curious creatures can The Kid make his way out of The Maw; but where are all these Nomes coming from? What secrets are buried in their nest?”

The story of the Runaway Kid will see its end on February 2018, when Bandai Namco will release the third and final DLC. Additionally, the company has made available today a free demo for the game, for those who still haven’t tried what is considered one of the surprises of the year. We said in our review earlier this year that: “What it lacks in gameplay substance is made up for in visual and audio design. If that’s a trade-off you’re worth making, then Little Nightmares is a decent entry for the genre.”

If you like the demo, remember that a Complete Edition is out now for PS4 and Xbox One, featuring the main game and access to all the additional content via download code. Watch the trailer for The Hideaway below.
