Lizzo’s Emmy Awards presence was both euphoric and memorable. The music star got very emotional after her show won an award at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards. The musician’s show, Lizzo’s Watch Out for The Big Grrrls, won the award of Outstanding Competition Program.

Lizzo broke down in tears as she took the stage to collect her award. She thanked the Emmys and the Emmys, voters. Through her emotional state, she continued by saying that “The trophy is nice but the emotion is for the people who are on this stage with me…”
She added that while she was little, all she wanted to see was someone like her on the screen, “Fat like me…” She expressed how happy she was to be that person on the screen.
Lizzo definitely brought the fire on as she went to the Emmys in style. The musician, who is halfway into becoming an EGOT winner, went to the award show dressed in a red tulle gown which she paired with red strappy heels. Her makeup, hairdo, and jewelry were flawless. She rocked the Emmys red carpet with her stunning look.

Why Did Lizzo Start Her Show?
In March, the musician revealed to People what inspired her to start the show, Lizzo’s Watch Out for The Big Grrrls. She opened up about her need for dancers and how she had an audition for dancers but could not find people who looked like her.
Although the people who auditioned for the role of dancers were amazing and perfect, she didn’t want that. Lizzo wanted women like her “next to me on stage.” The star singer then decided to do “an open casting call.”
