With a global catastrophe on the horizon, Renee Montoya aka the Question has joined Lane in her quest. However, their latest revelation raises questions of its own.

Lois Lane #3 Spoilers

Lois Lane #3 sees Montoya trade punches with a mysterious figure following the duo. To both character’s surprise, their unknown stalker is none other than the original Question, Vic Sage! A dedicated crimefighter, Sage sought the truth and stopped at nothing to obtain it. The weekly series 52 back in 2007 saw Sage diagnosed with cancer. Knowing his time was limited, he took Montoya under his wing. Finally succumbing to his cancer in Nanda Parbat, Montoya adopted the mantle of the hero. Now, after sporadic appearances and replacements over the years since his death, Sage has revealed that he is indeed alive, though by what means is unclear.

Sage’s return within the pages of Lois Lane makes sense. Both are truth-seekers who are not afraid to confront danger head-on if it means getting to the bottom of an investigation. A hero to the world, Sage could be ruthless at times, even killing people in certain situations. While Lois Lane and Renee Montoya are not averse to getting into a brawl, the original Question’s methods may be too extreme for the duo. However, with an unknown conspiracy threatening billions of lives on Earth, Lane, Montoya, and Sage need to work together to uncover the sinister plot and put a stop to it.
