Indie games are bound to spawn from a mix of genre-defining features. Blending the unique rouge elements with auto battling mechanics makes Loop Hero an exceptionally interesting case. Developer Four Quarters has worked tirelessly on Loop Hero as it launched on PC just this past March. Loop Hero answered many of those auto battling woes with rogue elements, but there was certainly room for improvement. Amongst many of the included elements, there were plenty of needed additions fans were already asking for on release. With plenty more content additions planned for a later date, the Loop Hero 1.1 update is sure to help ease those launch day woes. Launching the beta of the update earlier this month, the team finally feels confident in releasing it fully. Announced on their Steam news page, Loop Hero 1.1 brings plenty of updates and quality of life additions.

One of the many additions finally being added is of course higher speeds. Launching with only a 2x speed, the new 4 and 2.5 speeds will change Loop Hero’s pace quite well. Players now also have the option to save during a run to squeeze all the resources they can out of a good loop. Finally, there are new cards and tiles to find in the game, switching up the gameplay quite a bit for newcomers and veteran heroes alike. There are exactly 3 new tiles added along with 2 enemies to slay along the path. Amongst these additions, there’s also a few quality of life additions. Being able to prevent specific equipment from disappearing for later use is a perfect addition. Including the option to remove specific perks from the level-up pool makes the customization possibilities endless. Loop Hero 1.1 update is now live on PC, available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
