Lords of the Fallen has a hefty update ready to go for launch, as uncovered by one redditor in possession of the title. CI Games’ Dark Souls-inspired RPG will find a patch just shy of 5GB (4.717GB to be exact) waiting for it day one. That’s an impressive size given that there are reports that the game’s initial install takes up 5.2GB. So we’re looking at a patch that nearly doubles the game’s required HDD space.
Sadly, large downloads are nothing new to current-gen consoles. At least we can take comfort in the fact that this update pales in comparison to Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s 20GB day one update. It can always be worse, right? Be sure to check out Lords of the Fallen when it hits physical and digital shelves on October 28th.
