The August 3 update has arrived for Lost Ark, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. The new patch does not bring major features like previous updates but offers bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. But still, there are some notable changes this week. Besides that, all Lost Ark servers were offline today for weekly maintenance. Downtime is estimated to last up to 4 hours, like every week. So, here’s everything new with the new Lost Ark August 3 update.

Lost Ark August 3 Update Patch Notes

The Lost Ark update includes a new cooldown for gold earned from the Rapport system. After today, players will not be able to use this gold for certain activities for three days after receiving it.

  • Gold earned from the Rapport system will be received as “withheld funds,” which are subject to a 3-day withholding period during which they are restricted in the following ways:
  • Cannot send withheld funds through the mail.
  • Cannot deduct from withheld funds when accepting billing mail.
  • Cannot use on 1:1 trades.
  • Cannot use in an Auction House.
  • Cannot use in Marketplace.
  • Cannot use in Loot Auctions.
  • For the first 72 hours after using a paid Power pass, all gold earned by trading Una’s Tokens will be received as withheld funds and subject to the 3-day withholding period.
  • Please note that all Powerpasses are currently disabled as we work to resolve an issue with the feature. We will provide an additional update on the Powerpasses update later this week.

Like we said before, all Lost Ark servers were offline today for weekly maintenance with the August 3 update. Downtime is estimated to last up to 4 hours. But now it’s back online and playable. Lost Ark‘s social media accounts have confirmed that.
