Eternity Essence is an item that you will obtain from various locations throughout the game. Nevertheless, for some reason, this mystery item seems to confuse both newcomers and hardcore players on what its function is supposed to do. Here’s a short explanation about how Eternity Essence works in Lost Ark.

Eternity Essence – Item Usage Explanation

Eternity Essence item description:

Once obtained, Eternity Essence will show up in your Inventory in the form of a Card. When you use an Eternity Essence (by right-clicking it in your Inventory), however, it will be removed from your Inventory. But you don’t have to be worried. Because Eternity Essence gives you 1,500 Card XP when consumed instead of being added to your Card Catalog.

This particular XP goes into the Card XP Balance to be used to level up your Cards. Open your Card Catalog (or press Alt+C), then select the Enhance tab. You’ll see a counter near the top of the catalog for the Card XP, or Card XP Enhancement Points, that you’ve earned so far. You can save up to 999,999,999 XP to be used down the road.

Cards can be used to boost your character’s stats. Gain set benefits from equipping up to six Cards from the same set and stack up the bonuses. Then Enhance those Cards to level them up to get higher set bonuses per Card.

  • From Launch Celebration Card XP Pack.
  • Ark Pass reward.
  • From Cube Chests (Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond).
  • Sold for 2,000 Pirate Coins.
  • Dropped by high-level enemies:

  • Casrick.
  • Chuo.
  • Maneth.
  • Rovlen.
  • Rudric.
  • Salt Giant.
  • Velkan.
