With the latest update in Lost Ark came a new story questline, a limited-time racing event and the Argos Abyss Raid. Another recent addition is a new currency, the Coin of Courage, directly tied to PvP. This guide will teach you how to earn and use Coins of Courage in Lost Ark.
How to Earn and Use Coins of Courage in Lost Ark
The first requirement to obtaining Coins of Courage is having a total item level of at least 302. If you have less than this, you will instead receive Tenacious Coins. Unlike Tenacious Coins you find in your inventory upon pickup, you will see Coins of Courage in your currency inventory. To access your currency inventory, click the golden chest icon in the top-left corner of your screen next to your total silver. This menu will show you all of your different currency types, including the Coins of Courage under “Token Items” and “Collectible”.
To obtain Coins of Courage, you must participate in PvP matches. It does not matter which of the three main PvP modes you play as long as you fight for the match’s entirety. After finishing your game, you will get a notification in chat telling you how many Coins of Courage you received.
Lost Ark: The Best Classes for PvP
Currently, there is no way to spend your coins of courage. Since the PvP season has not begun yet, there are no gear merchants NPC to exchange your coins with. Once the season starts in future updates, NPCs will likely appear near the PvP boards in each major continent. While there is no exact information on what items will be available for purchase using Coins of Courage, possible options include honing materials, engravings chests and exclusive gear.
