The Powerpass in Lost Ark is a quality-of-life feature that allows players to effectively skip the initial leveling process and storyline until Level 50. This option will become available once players have completed “Ealyn’s Gift,” the final quest of the North Vern questline. To reach North Vern, players must first complete all the main content of the previous continents in the game. These regions include Rethramis, Yudia, West Luterra, East Luterra, Tortoyk, Anikka, and Arthetine, the area before North Vern. Once players have completed these eight regional questlines, including North Vern’s, players will be eligible to receive a Vern Powerpass Token in their in-game mail.
How the Powerpass Works in Lost Ark
After players acquire their Powerpass, they can use it to receive a second one. The Lost Ark Powerpass works essentially as a character boost that allows players to skip all the early-game content and be given gear and supplies for jumping straight into the end-game content. Players can use two Powerpasses for their account, granting boosts for two alt characters.
Lost Ark: When is the Weekly Reset?
The Powerpass exists as a way for players to instantly reach and enjoy the end-game content without needing to redo all the main storylines and re-level a new character. As a result, players can streamline their experience and use their alt characters once they’ve progressed through all the base continents with their main character. Therefore, it’s recommended that Lost Ark fans refrain from playing an alt character until they’re able to obtain their Powerpasses.
Additionally, the Powerpass in Lost Ark provides bonus rewards for those who complete the optional tutorials and guides available after the token’s activation. Nevertheless, this extra content is entirely skippable, yet players should keep in mind that they will not receive the completion rewards.
