Weeks after Love Island stars Adam Collard and Paige Thorne announced their breakup, the former has stepped forward to dispel the cheating rumors that led to their split. In a recent interview, the 27-year-old, who has maintained his silence since the breakup, discussed his side of the story and how his actions on that night might have been misrepresented.
The Love Island couple ended their relationship last month after a video showing Adam with his arms wrapped around a blonde girl at McDonald’s surfaced. Speaking to The Sun, the online fitness coach came clean about what really happened, refuting Paige’s claims that he ghosted her after the incident.

During the interview, Adam Collard admitted he should not have put his arms around the blonde girl like he did while dating Paige, whom he met on Love Island. Despite his mistake, he believed the entire scenario was misinterpreted. According to him, he was out that fateful night with his pals and met many people.
As his job demanded, to took pictures and selfies with most of the people he met, before heading to McDonald’s with his friend to grab a bite. There, he met the now-infamous blonde. The trainer admitted the blonde lady acted all nice and polite, and he ended up having a couple of drinks with her. He added:

Adam described the events of that night as “just a laugh and carry on,” as all he and his friend did was take pictures while waiting for their orders to arrive. He also revealed his friends flanked him on both sides in all the snapshots, but the video somehow cut them out. Additionally, the TV personality pointed out that the girl in question openly affirmed that she went home alone that night, and nothing happened between them. Yet, Paige and everyone else chose to believe what they wanted. He added:

Earlier, the 25-year-old paramedic shared her side of the story during her appearance on the Saving Grace podcast. She claimed the public videos were not the only evidence of her ex-partner’s flirtatious conduct. She referenced a video of him heading to a private room with another woman, who Adam has now clarified was one of the supervisors leading him to a less crowded area of the facility for privacy.
