Love Island (USA) fans defend Isaiah Campbell’s frat boy behavior because….reasons. He came into the villa in the fourth season and was the youngest houseguest at the time. During his season, he cozied up with Sydney Paight. But in typical Love Island fashion, the two just couldn’t stay loyal, and both reacted like children when they found out the other did the same thing. From there, the drama only intensified. So why do so many people seem to support his behavior?

It really all just boils down to people allowing each other to write off his behavior due to his age. But on the other hand, at what “age” do we start holding people who make adult decisions and adult mistakes accountable? Blindly writing it off as ‘he’s young’ really only perpetuates the behavior by reinforcing it.

Love Island’s Isaiah Campbell Has Supporters?!

Via Screenrant:

“Despite his many mishaps, fans are defending him and don’t believe the Love Island USA contestant is maliciously hurting his fellow islanders. Reddit user strawberryskyz explained, ‘I don’t think he does anything with ill intent, I don’t think he purposefully hurts anyone however he’s just young and makes poor decisions.’ The fan went on to explain it was irresponsible for him to bring Phoebe back to the villa if he wasn’t positive he wanted to build a connection with her. As a result, he ended up hurting Phoebe and Sydney. ‘Agreed. But I think this situation gave him a reality check,’ one fan responded.”

Love Island (USA) fans defend Isaiah Campbell and write it off as childish behavior. While we can understand why people take that angle, we also know that defending someone’s actions just because they are younger can be a slippery slope.

Regardless, only time will tell or show if Campbell learns and matures from it or continues to use his age as a crutch.
