Players anxious to get their rewards from the Great Vault will have to wait for a few hours before World of Warcraft and the Shadowlands expansion come back from their regularly scheduled maintenance.
Blizzard will take the game down at 9:00 AM EST, and the retail version of World of Warcraft will be inaccessible for five hours, going back online at 2:00 PM. Players anxious for something to do can check out World of Warcraft: Classic, which will also be down for maintenance, but only for a one-hour period between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM EST.
During this time, Blizzard is investigating issues involving the Impressionable Gorger Spawn, characters getting stuck while falling through the world, and players unable to join a specific covenant after making their selection. Hopefully, these and others will be resolved when the game resumes activity later today.
