We learned yesterday that those in Canada that had been looking for the special Majora’s Mask New Nintendo 3DS XL handheld were going to at least have a shot at getting one in store in the very near future through EB Games Canada, but no news had surfaced about any restocks in the US. However, those looking for the extremely limited edition handheld could very well be in luck today in the US through EB Games’ parent company, GameStop.
At some point today, GameStop’s website is supposed to put up what is expected to be rather small number of the Majora’s Mask New 3DS XL for sale. This appears to be the handheld by itself and not involved in any sort of bundle, which we have seen more recently.
The more interesting piece of info is that the Majora’s Mask New 3DS XL will be hitting actual GameStop stores for the very first time starting today. According to employees of GameStop through the gaming forum NeoGAF, beginning today, March 25, all GameStop stores will be getting in four of the special edition Majora’s Mask New Nintendo 3DS XL.
The memo from within GameStop that was provided also states that there is supposed to be a limit of 1 per customer, so this may be the best chance you will have to get one of these, especially if there are many GameStop stores in your area. The memo also states that this is expected to be the last copies of Majora’s Mask New 3DS XL that they will receive, so you must take advantage now if you want one at retail price.
