Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is only a month away from hitting the silver screen. But thanks to a recently-revealed theatrical release poster, you can get a look at the Disney villainess even sooner.

This rather melancholy poster shows off the cast, many of whom have reprised their roles from the previous film. This includes Angelina Jolie, taking center stage as Maleficent and Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora. Check out the poster below:

The cast who are returning who you can’t see on the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil poster includes Sam Riley as Diaval, Imelda Staunton as Knotgrass and Juno Temple as Thistlewit among others.

A notable absence comes in the form of Brenton Thwaites, who played Prince Phillip in the 2014 original. Here, he’s replaced by English actor Harris Dickinson. Unfortunately, the former actor couldn’t reprise the role in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil due to scheduling conflicts with his series Titans, where he plays Dick Grayson/Robin.

Another notable addition to the cast comes in the form of Hollywood royalty Michelle Pfeiffer. The 61-year-old actress plays the evil queen, Ingrith, Prince Philip’s mother in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. Suffice to say, she looks suitably ominous on the movie poster.

Back in 2017, Angelina Jolie stated optimistically that the film “would be a really strong sequel” as Jez Butterworth tinkered with Linda Woolverton’s script. The screenplay as a whole was written with Jolie in mind and began before she was even confirmed to perform in the movie.

Principal photography for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil began in England’s Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire on May 29, 2018. Filming eventually wrapped on August 28 the same year. The visual effects are handled by The Moving Pictures Company, while the score is composed by Geoff Zanelli, who replaces James Newton Howard from the last film.
