As practically everyone knows, Mariah Carey is the unofficial “queen of Christmas.” Continuing her holiday legacy, Mariah Carey will lead a new Christmas concert special on CBS. The special, Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas To All, is a two-hour primetime concert event that will air on December 20th at 8 pm ET/PT. Mariah Carey’s Christmas Special will also be available on Paramount+ and MTV.
The news of Mariah Carey’s Christmas concert special follows another Holiday announcement from the veteran singer and songwriter. She will also embark on a two-day Christmas Revue, with one date in New York City and the other in Toronto.
Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas To All takes place at Madison Square Garden. Fans will get to see Mariah sing many of her classic Christmas songs, including the legendary All I Want For Christmas Is You.

Though no special guests have been announced for the Christmas special on CBS, many fans are hoping that Brandy will make an appearance, especially since Mariah Carey included Brandy on the updated version of her classic song The Roof earlier this year.
A New Mariah Carey Album Is On The Way
Besides her Holiday special, fans of Mariah are awaiting a new album. Though she recently released a redone collection of some of her classics, Mariah Carey’s most recent studio album came out in 2018 with the release of Caution. The legendary singer recently told Rolling Stone that she has a new album in the works and a few other music projects that fans will be excited about. According to Mariah, the new body of work will be a themed album. However, she did not share details surrounding a release date.
Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You has already reentered the Billboard charts as it does every year. We’re sure it will be a centerpiece of Mariah Carey’s Christmas special on CBS.
