Paid downloadable content has always been a controversial point of contention in gaming. While there are undoubtedly good DLC releases, there are just as many if not more instances of very bad DLC. When Nintendo started implementing DLC on the WiiU, many were worried. Yet, the success of DLC in their other games has certainly made them more open to implementing it elsewhere. Such as the surprise reveal of more Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tracks planned to release on a monthly schedule. While the first wave of tracks launch today, a new leak has provided info on what Mario Kart courses are coming. Thanks to a new datamined image, we now know of a few courses planned to release in the upcoming Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC.

Looks like we got a datamine leak after all. Courses on here include:– Sydney Sprint (tour)– LA Laps (tour)– Mario Circuit (SNES)– Koopa Cape (Wii)

Which Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Courses Are From The Datamine?

Tweeted from Joshua Goldie, the editor in chief of AllSourceGaming, tweeted out a banner featuring mini photos of upcoming courses. While he thoroughly explores what courses might be coming, it’s a very difficult process to identify these courses. Taking a critical look at a banner can give us some insight into the future. Fans have already been quick to identify and speculate on when these Mario Kart courses should debut. Eagle eye players were able to identify quite a few courses that are making their mainline series debut. These mobile-exclusive courses include LA Laps, Sydney Sprint, New York Minute, Merry Mountain, and even Vancouver Velocity. Taking the images from the real world and transforming them for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC is an interesting strategy. Users also noticed a few more forms of Rainbow Road, notably from the 3DS and Wii titles. Even Shy Guy Bazaar and DK Summit return from their respective games. While it may be some time before we get official confirmations, be sure to check back for more news on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC.
