The challenges in Mario Kart Tour are going to have you engaging in a variety of activities in the game. You’re going to need to destroy pipes, do a specific amount of jumps, and you need even to hit other drivers with bananas. A more difficult task to complete is achieving 7,000 points with a particular driver who has horns.
How to Earn 7,000 Points Using a Driver With Horns in Mario Kart Tour
Given the statement of the challenge, you’re going to need to find a driver who has a set of horns. Unfortunately, you have limited options when it comes down to it.
- Bowser
- Dry Bowser
These are your only two options when it comes to completing this challenge. You need to roll to get the opportunity to have these drivers available in your line-up. You’re only going to have access to these two drivers by acquiring rubies from playing the game or by purchasing them with real money. If you’re planning to play the game to earn rubies, it may take you a bit of time. Even if you have the Golden Ticket pass, Mario Kart Tour‘s season pass option for $4.99.
Now, whichever driver you have access to use to complete the challenge, you want to take a brief look at them in your driver’s menu. Go back to the main screen to pull them up, and you’re going to see a list of their Favored Courses. These courses are going to vary depending on the driver you’re using. For example, Dry Bowser’s favored courses are Dino Dino Jungle, Dino Dino Jungle T, Bowser’s Castle 1 R, and Shy Guy Bazaar R.
You want to hit these specific courses to get the most points. These courses are the ones Dry Bowser can earn three item boxes when he hits an item cube during a race. When you’re playing and hit an item box, you have the chance to score three of the same in these item boxes. Scoring all three of the same items is going to trigger a Frency Mode, giving you a considerable amount of points by the end of the race.
Make sure to look up regular Bowser’s options in the driver menu because they’re going to be different than Dry Bowser’s.
You can increase your score in multiple ways:
- Having a higher driver, vehicle, or glider level
- Hitting other drivers with items while playing
- Collecting coins
- Hitting a drift to get a boost
- Preforming a jump boost
- Finishing at a higher placement, such as first
You won’t get this immediately, and it’s going to take a bit of practice to feel out a track, seeing how your driver best gets their points when you play them. The faster circuit you go on, the higher value of points you’re going to receive at the end. Unfortunately, the highest level of race is the 200 cc, which is behind the golden ticket season pass.
Despite this, players who continually place and practice with any of these two drivers should do fine. It’s merely making sure you draw them when you activate the pipe and getting practice with their favored courses.
