The Mario Party series will be returning later this year for the Nintendo 3DS in the form of Mario Party: Star Rush, and now we have a lot of new footage to check out to give us a better idea of what’s in store. There are actually multiple new videos that have been uploaded to YouTube, which have been gathered in a playlist that you can check out for yourself at the bottom of this post.

The videos show off various mini-games and boards that will be featured in the game, and everything I’ve seen so far definitely has a classic Mario Party feel to it. This will come as a relief to some, particularly those who weren’t into the vehicle gameplay that the most recent games in the series have featured.

While Mario Party: Star Rush does appear to be more of a back-to-basics approach for the series, there will be one major thing that sets it apart. While previous games had everyone taking turns individually while others waited for them to finish so they could take their turn, Star Rush does away with that and has everyone moving at once.

Mario Party: Star Rush will launch exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS on November 4th. Check out the playlist of new gameplay footage below.
