Coins are the main currency in Mario Strikers: Battle League that players will need to purchase pieces of gear for their characters or retry after being defeated in a Cup Battle. On average, every piece of equipment costs 100 Coins, and currently, there are five default gear sets available for every Mario franchise character. Therefore, players will need 400 Coins to unlock a 4-piece set for each character and much more if they aim to buy every single piece of gear. Accordingly, understanding how to farm Coins quickly and efficiently in Mario Strikers: Battle League is essential knowledge that every fan will need.

Farming Coins in Mario Strikers Battle League

Without a doubt, the best way to farm Coins in Mario Strikers: Battle League is by completing the Cup Battles on Normal and Galatic Mode. Cup Battles is a tournament-style game mode in which players must compete against AI to win. Winning a Normal Cup Battle for the first time nets players 400 Coins.

Normal Mode consists of the Cannon Cup, Chain Cup, Muscle Cup, Trick Cup, and Championship Cup. Each Cup rewards players with 400 Coins upon first-time completion and finishing all of Normal Mode grants players an extra 500 Coins. Therefore, players will receive 2,900 Coins for achieving Normal Cup completion. However, bear in mind that winning a Normal Cup Battle subsequent times will only net players 50 Coins each, only 12.5% of the original reward. Nevertheless, another excellent fast source of Coins in Mario Strikers: Battle League is by doing all the tutorials provided in-game. The lessons shouldn’t take very long, and completing every tutorial will reward fans with 800 Coins.

After completing the Normal Mode Cup Battle, players will receive access to Galactic Mode, a substantially more challenging mode than the previous. Yet, the rewards provided for each Cup Battle win are exceedingly higher as well, providing players with 1,000 Coins for each first-time Cup victory. Still, this Mode might be too difficult for some fans; thus, the only other current option for farming Coins in Mario Strikers: Battle League is by doing Quick Play, which rewards participants with 5 Coins for a loss, 10 Coins for a draw, and 20 Coins for a victory. However, players can earn bonus Coins for every game they play with the “Team-Up Bonus,” which requires friends to participate in each match.

Mario Strikers: Battle League is available on Nintendo Switch.
