If you have seen Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens, you may already know how Luke Skywalker was not in the movie for that long. Mark Hamill himself has now joked about his role in Star Wars: Episode 8.

Mark Hamill tweeted out: “An adventure just beginning…. #StillNoDialogue #RianHasMoreLinesThanMe #Wait4VIII #StarWars #StarWarsEpVIII”

As you can see from the hashtags, he jokes that he still has no dialogue in Star Wars: Episode 8. Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens is still a good movie, but some Luke Skywalker fans were disappointed that the character said and did absolutely nothing.

Other cast members also chimed in on their opinions of filming starting for Episode 8. Daisy Ridley posted on Instagram: “We also have INCREDIBLE new cast members including Kelly Marie Tran who is raaaaad and who likes musicals too”

John Boyega tweeted: “First day on Star Wars 8 complete ! We must face them! Fight them!“. This falls in line with what he has been saying previously about the movie. Finn is likely to get more action this time around and the story is darker as well.

Star Wars: Episode 8 will be released in December 2017. The film had to be delayed by seven months as it is currently undergoing script rewrites.
