Mark Hamill held a Q&A session at the Star Wars Celebration Europe event and he mentioned that Star Wars: Episode 8 will have a lot of memorable quotes.
Hamill is obviously not allowed to give away spoilers for the film, but he praised the script and dialogue that Rian Johnson has written for him.
He said that Star Wars: Episode 8 will have a lot of memorable lines that are likely to be blasted on t-shirts. He also says the movie might even make people forget about “May the Force be with you”, which is the most iconic line in Star Wars history.
This is a sign that Luke Skywalker will say a lot of meaningful dialogue to Rey as she trains to be a Jedi. Speaking of Rey, a cheeky fan tried to ask him what the last name of Rey is. Luckily Hamill caught wind of the question and laughed it off.
Hamill is sure to be happy with the extended role he has in Star Wars: Episode 8. Fans will obviously know he had no lines in The Force Awakens and was only in the movie for less than a minute.
