Mark Hamill is teasing that some type of Star Wars: Episode 8 announcement will happen this Sunday. This time, he promises it won’t be a joke of some sort like his April Fool’s prank.
Hamill tweeted: “Prepare Yourself!-This Sunday @ 8PM For Daisy Ridley’s Birthday-An #EP8Exclusive Guaranteed to BLOW- YOUR- MIND!!! #NoJoke #NoTrick #NoPrank”
It’s hard to tell if Hamill is fooling us again, but it will be Daisy Ridley’s birthday so hopefully something is revealed. Director Rian Johnson has posted pictures of the set already so something small won’t be too bad.
Hamill could just post a picture of him and Ridley in costume. The two are set to have a big part in Star Wars: Episode 8 as Rey will be undergoing Jedi training with Luke Skywalker.
Star Wars: Episode 8 filming is underway with the movie set to be out in December 2017. The film had to be delayed by several months in order for the script to be rewritten. Rumor has it is that the script will refocus on Rey, Finn, Poe and Kylo Ren as the original story was going to heavily feature newer characters instead.
