Marlo Hampton addressed the accusations of attacking her co-star, Kandi Burruss, “for no reason” laid against her by fans. On Sunday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen confronted Marlo on her “below the belt” and “unprovoked” actions towards Kandi.
This confrontation took place following several episodes of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, where Marlo aimed at Kandi. During some of the tirades, the businesswoman suggested Kandi was a “hoe” while shading her spouse, Todd Tucker. The TV star also downplayed the singer’s career by claiming that Kandi is not “worldwide.”
The Bravo late-night talk show host, Andy, wanted to know Marlo Hampton’s thoughts on the backlash she got from fans for the unwarranted attack on Kandi Burruss.
What Marlo Hampton Had To Say About The Situation
Per Reality Blurb, Marlo told Andy Cohen how she didn’t understand people saying her attack was “for no reason.” She proceeded by refreshing Andy’s memory about when Kandi was on Watch What Happens Live. This was a couple of weeks ago, and Andy had asked Kandi what she rated L’Archive, Marlo’s luxury boutique. The 46-year-old recalled:
She explained that Kandi had attacked her by calling her a “hypocrite.” This was because she pressed Ralph Pittman Jr. on his decision against adopting his wife, Drew Sidora’s son, Josiah.
Marlo, who had been in the foster system, knew how it felt when adoption went wrong. In essence, Kandi shamed her for feeling like that since she “kicked out” her nephews away from her house.
According to Marlo, Kandi did not have any right to question her thoughts towards Ralph. She further explained that her nephews were “not behaving” and were sent to her sister’s house. Marlo attacked Kandi by saying she was only known “locally” on their trip to Jamaica, and she later admitted that it was a mistake.
