Square Enix’s Avengers game is releasing September 4, 2020, but it isn’t the only superhero game currently in development by the studio. The company announced it would be discussing another brand new game at PAX East 2020 during its Marvel Mystery Panel.

The new game is being developed by Netmarble Corp., one of the fastest-growing mobile gaming companies around. Now, we don’t know much in detail about the new game, but what little information gleaned from the panel’s description makes it sound like a sequel to one of Netmarble’s other games, Marvel Future Fight, released in 2015. Aside from that, it will be available on Android and Apple devices when it is released.

Marvel Entertainment posted a picture along with the announcement of the reveal. The photo appears to be a still taken from the Doctor Strange movie. So, the game may end up being tied to the sorcerer supreme, or it will be a connection to Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.

Netmarble is also the developer of Magic: ManaStrike, a real-time Magic: The Gathering strategy game also available on mobile devices.
