Come join the battle as Marvel superheroes are indeed coming to Fortnite in its Chapter 2: Season 4 Nexus War. And they are here to save the battle royale island from the villain Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds. Players who will purchase the game’s seasonal battle pass will get to meet and get to play with some of the biggest Marvel heroes.
Come join Thor, Storm, Iron Man, Mystique, Doctor Doom, She-Hulk, Wolverine, and Groot in this new season of the game. Since Marvel heroes are coming in, Fortnite is making this season a comic book-style event. They previously released an in-game comic book as to how the crossover happened. According to the story, it started when Thor and Galactus were lured by the power of Fortnite’s island. Thor then summoned other heroes to help. Namely Captain America, Iron Man, and Wolverine. You can unlock all seven hero skins minus Wolverine. He is somewhere on the island and in order to get him you will need to complete a number of his challenges but “be warned, he won’t come quietly”. This is not the first time Fortnite is bringing in superheroes in the game. They recently invited Deadpool and Aquaman, and let us not forget the time when The Avengers and Batman visited the game too.
Chapter 2: Season 4 of Fortnite will start amidst Epic’s legal battle with Apple and Google over its disputed app fees. This issue started when they snuck in a discounted new payment option for the players on mobile and this removes the additional 30% developer fees. A bold move that resulted in the kicking of the game out of the tech giants’ respective stores. The company countered and sued both Apple and Google for its monopolistic practices. Currently, the game is available on PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
