Grab your friends and get ready to assemble, the premiere superhero action game is here. Marvel’s Avengers is out now on consoles and PC. Taking inspiration from the Marvel cinematic universe, you play as each of the Avengers as they take on new foes after a disaster at a special Avengers event. In addition to classic characters like Iron Man and Hulk, you will also play as Kamala Khan, also known as Ms. Marvel.

As Kamala Khan, you will need to go out and reunite the Avengers after the disaster at A-Day. Each of the characters has their own combat options and abilities. The game was developed by Crystal Dynamics, who have previously worked on the reboot Tomb Raider games. Unlike the Tomb Raider games that are a single-player action-adventure game, Marvel’s Avengers is a co-op action game with live service elements. In addition to the main campaign, the game also features new content added over time. The first announced content for the game will add Hawkeye and his apprentice Kate Bishop.

Marvel’s Avengers Will Feature Next-Gen Upgrades and Save Transfer

If you are looking to get in on the superhero action but don’t want to lose progress when upgrading to next-gen consoles, you won’t have to worry. Players that own the game will be able to upgrade to the next-gen version at no additional cost, and their progress will also transfer. After being in beta the last few weeks, the game has received some less than stellar preview responses from players. However, now that the full game is out the story is receiving praise in a way that maybe Square Enix should have promoted more.

Marvel’s Avengers is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, and Google Stadia. The game costs $59.99 for the standard version but comes with additional versions that include a Marvel outfit pack and in-game currency.
