Marvel’s Avengers is coming to next-gen.

It is common knowledge that Marvel’s Avengers will be releasing for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. However, it has been revealed that players who have chosen to get the game on those systems will have no trouble upgrading, should they purchase a PS5 or Xbox Series X. Square Enix is planning to grant free next-gen upgrades to anyone who purchases the title on their current-gen consoles. All profiles and progress information will also be transferred over.

After what is an apparent terrorist attack led by Taskmaster, the Golden Gate Bridge and much of San Francisco is destroyed. The Avengers also lose Steve Rogers in the attack and disband after having the finger pointed at them.

Five years later, Kamala Khan hopes to gather the heroes once more and solve the mystery. Who truly orchestrated the attack and what does AIM have to do with the conspiracy behind it all? Only together can the superhero team get to the bottom of everything.
