The debut of Marvel’s Avengers was rocky, to say the least. Criticism was thrown at the game for its bugs and glitches. However, since then, the game has kept on going. It’s now been a full year since the game’s release, and things have changed quite a bit. Characters such as Clint Barton, Kate Bishop, and Black Panther have joined the roster. The game isn’t done either. The latest Marvel’s Avengers roadmap shows the future of 2021, including the addition of Spider-Man.

Marvel’s Avengers Roadmap Details

The roadmap shows what they recently released, and what’s to come soon. They show that they just launched the War for Wakanda expansion. This included Black Panther, Wakanda as a playable map, and a new storyline. Next, they show what’s in store for September. This includes a flashback rewards cache and a priority mission rush.

After this, Marvel’s Avengers roadmap doesn’t give specific dates on when the other content will release. However, we know it will be this year. This includes content such as bonus XP weekends and a power level cap increase. Not to mention events like cosmic threat, red room takeover, and corrupted vibranium. Out of all of the content on the roadmap, one sticks out.

Spider-Man in the Avengers

The web-crawler making his way to the game has been known for a while. However, it’s been a long time since they’ve updated the fans on his inclusion. Speaking of his inclusion, Spider-Man will only be available for PlayStation owners. He will also be the fourth character to be added post-launch. Spider-Man’s storyline and his history with the Avengers have yet to be revealed.

A year after the launch of the game, content is still being added. Although Marvel’s Avengers roadmap shows what’s to come in 2021, 2022 is still a mystery. With Spider-Man making his way to the game, who knows who’s joining after him.
