Firaxis promised and delivered. The company that is well-known for its XCOM games, released Marvel’s Midnight Suns. While it flew under the radar for many, the game was a hit for many Marvel fans. The title boasts great strategic combat, some nice social aspects, and a great cast of characters. This cast is about to get bigger because Marvel’s Midnight Suns just gave us the official release date for Deadpool. While some thought the first DLC was going to take longer, we are happy to say that the wait is almost over. Those eager to play as Deadpool will only have to wait one more week.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns will launch its Deadpool DLC on January 26
This is great news for fans who have been waiting for more content. The video shows that, besides Deadpool, there’ll be more things for players to experience. This is what the video showed:
- Deadpool as a new playable character
- New Cards (not sure if they are only for Deadpool or for all heroes)
- A new Abbey upgrade in the form of a Food Truck
- New cosmetic items
- A new type of enemy
- A storyline centered around Deadpool

These are a lot more things than many fans expected. While we knew about the story and hero, we had no idea about the Abbey upgrade or the new enemy type. This is amazing and will hopefully add even more layers to the game. The Deadpool DLC for Marvel’s Midnight Suns has a release date set for next week, and there are two ways of getting it. If you have the Season Pass, you’ll be able to access the content at no extra cost. However, if you don’t, you need to either buy the whole Pass or the DLC individually. This is great if you don’t have the $49.99 for the Season Pass. So, mark your calendars because the DLC will launch on January 26 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
