This is part of the campaign, so you should not be able to miss the Mission and will eventually recruit Steve Rogers, just like unlocking the Hulk. Here, you are tasked to defeat Crossbones and his HYDRA thugs in the Stark Tower by using a team of your custom Hunter, Captain America, and Iron Man.

There are two phases for this boss fight:

  • Phase One: You must defeat all HYDRA enemies while a Gunship is raining down missiles. Avoiding the red are-of-effect indicator on the ground before the turn ends is vital, but you can also bait enemy units into the Gunship fire as well.
  • Phase Two: Defeat Crossbones twice while dealing with respawning HYDRA units. The best way to do this is to do crowd-control using Iron Man while you try to stun him with Knockback attacks.
  • Utilizing Captain America’s taunt is very important to succeed in this Mission.

Captain America is one of the best Tank units that you can get in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. All thanks to his taunt ability as well as generating Block fast. As a Tank, Captain America is best paired with other Heroes that can quickly deal huge damage or area-of-effects. Let Captain America taunt and take on enemies’ attacks while the other team members actually try to clear out their adversaries. For that reason, try bringing along someone like Iron Man, Ghost Rider, or Blade. Having your Hunter use Healing abilities can also be extremely useful to ensure Roger’s survivability.
