These days, if you want to get your hands on cosmetic items in games, you have to buy them. Marvel’s Midnight Suns is no different. There is a difference though between in-game currency and currency just used in the store. Eclipse Credits are a unique type of currency used in the Marketplace in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. You can’t earn any in-game. We’ll show you exactly how to get Eclipse Credits and how you can use them.

Eclipse Credits – What Are They in Marvel’s Midnight Suns?

As explained, Eclipse Credits are a type of currency. Nothing more, nothing less. However, they are not like Gloss, the in-game currency you can gain around the map, on missions, etc. Instead, Eclipse Credits are only gained through real-life cash. As such, there is no actual way to earn them. You can only buy them.

The exact amount may differ depending on the region you’re in. However, here’s a general idea of what Eclipse Credits can look like in Marvel’s Midnight Suns:

  • 300 Eclipse Credits – $2.99
  • 600 Eclipse Credits – $4.99
  • 1200 Eclipse Credits – $9.99
  • 1500 Eclipse Credits – $11.99

How to Use Eclipse Credits in Marvel’s Midnight Suns

If you want to purchase and use Eclipse Credits, you’ll have to head over to the Marketplace. From there, you will see all the characters and the various unlockable cosmetic skins that are available for purchase.

Now, the price of these might vary. Typically, cosmetics cost from 300 to 600 Eclipse Credits. You always have to account for discounts and regional differences. In general, you can grab yourself a handful of skins for different characters by purchasing the largest Eclipse Credit box of 1500 Credits.

Of course, many gamers don’t particularly care for microtransactions in a game while it doesn’t seem to bother others. Just note though that everything you can purchase with Eclipse Credits in Marvel’s Midnight Suns is for aesthetic purposes only. You can get through the game perfectly fine without these skins. They are rather cool to look at though, especially the throw-back skins for some of our favorite Marvel characters.

If you have the means for it, it doesn’t hurt to buy a box of Eclipse Credits and give your fave a new look to appreciate in the game.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is available on PC, PS5 and PS4 systems, and Xbox One and Series systems.
