The title is now available on the UK PSN wishlist. Meanwhile, it’s the next game in PlayStation’s critically acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise. Developed by Insomniac Games in collaboration with Marvel Games and PlayStation for the PS5 console. A new one has been added to Spidey’s upcoming game leaks. It sounds like a development team member at Insomniac Games may have leaked Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s release date.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Release Date has been Leaked
There’s not much information yet about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which was announced at PlayStation Showcase 2021. So far, players have quite a short teaser released by the developer and, of course, a few leaks. Besides, there is no detail about the gameplay or release date of the upcoming game. But that seems to have changed recently, and a clue may have been caught regarding the title’s release date.
Originally discovered by Spider-Man News on Twitter and later reported by Insider Gaming, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will apparently launch in the Fall of 2023 on PS5. At this point, a member of the development team at Insomniac Games updated their personal website and confirmed the game’s release date. But there is still no word about the title’s launch window by Sony.
Such leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, and official clarification is awaited from the developer or publisher. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is already known to be released in 2023, but considering that many AAA titles were released in the Fall season, the latest leak seems correct. Of course, it should not be forgotten that video games are often delayed due to various reasons during the development process. But one way or another, Spidey will show up somewhere in 2023.
